Charlotte, NC: Thirsty Nomad Brewing is hosting an epic coffee, beer, cider, and bourbon pairing dinner benefiting the Bravo Alpha Foundation! Teaming up with Mello Coffee Roasters, Thirsty Nomad is aging coffee beans in a Doc Porter’s Bourbon Barrel. At the same time, TNB is brewing Waterloo Foreign Export Stout, an 8% Belgian style stout. Red Clay Ciderworks is jumping in with their delicious craft cider. When the beans are roasted and ready, we’ll add them to Waterloo and Red Clay will add some to their cider.

At 6:30pm the night of Friday, September 21, Chef Michael Beers – Chef-Owner at Tavern at Sunset Hill, Sugar Hill, NH – will be serving up signature creations paired with the beverages at Thirsty Nomad’s taproom.

Each $40 ticket gets you dinner, of course. You’ll also get to take home some of the barrel aged coffee beans – ground if you like – a can of the beer, and a bottle of the cider. No take home bourbon due to North Carolina laws.

Tickets available online at pairing.thirstynomad.beer.  Seating is limited.

About Red Clay Ciderworks: Red Clay Ciderworks was launched in 2014 by Jay and Deanna Bradish with a dream to make local, small-batch hard cider and a passion to share it. After years of making wine, beer, and cider at home, Jay and Deanna – with the help of friends and family – founded Red Clay with the mission to make quality hard cider from local ingredients, supporting our local and regional growers and getting involved with our local community while reigniting the passion behind cider that once made it America’s favorite beverage.

About Doc Porter’s Craft Spirits: At Doc Porter’s Craft Spirits, making beautiful, handmade craft spirits is our passion. Every drop of Doc Porter’s vodka, gin, and bourbon is made from scratch using locally-sourced grains from Marshville and Asheville, North Carolina. Andrew and Liz Porter founded Doc Porter’s in 2014 when Andrew decided to take his lifelong passion and turn it into a business. The distillery is named after Andrew’s grandfather, Doc Porter. Though we lost Doc Porter in 2012 but we know he would be proud of what we’ve built and would have enjoyed sipping on a namesake cocktail.
